July Beauty Box Battle and Final Thoughts

Hi all! Before I start receiving my August boxes I thought I’d do a summary of July and my thoughts, since I got three boxes this month. My first Kinder Beauty Box was a win, I think. I definitely wasn't impressed with a couple of the products and had trouble with others, but specifically the three from Earth Harbor were very good and I felt like I got a good value for what I paid.  The box felt specifically curated and thoughtful, and their website was incredibly easy to use to find what my box was, what my options were, etc. I’m really excited to get my next one and see if it’s just as complete and easy to use. I’ve been using the Earth Harbor skincare since I got the box and, since the jars are very small, I know I don’t have a ton of time left before they run out. But I thought I’d give some last thoughts on those items since they’ve actually gotten some time in my routine. The cleanser is very creamy and does not foam up at all, which I enjoy in the mornings especial

July BoxyCharm Rev

This month’s BoxyCharm review is in! I have a lot to talk about. BoxyCharm is one of those OG boxes, but has always felt haphazard to me and not very well-thought out if that makes sense, although I’ve still found some excellent products through them nonetheless. The July Box came with five products; a cream face kit, a mascara, a moisturizer, an eyeshadow palette, and a liquid eyeshadow duo. So three eye products, one skincare product, and one face product. You can see where I get a little impatient with the curators; getting three products for the eyes all in one box could be good if they all seemed to work together, but I just don’t feel that they do and I’ll explain why later in my post. The skincare item I got is the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream . I’ve actually had this product before and didn’t like it at all, I found it pilled up on my skin and didn’t absorb at all. I had a similar experience here a few years later. The formula is so liquid that the packa

Kinder Beauty July Harmony Box Review

Hi all! Welcome to the first review of the Kinder Beauty Box on my page. Kinder Beauty appears to be a great beauty box for people who are super passionate about vegan and cruelty-free products and brands. Their website is pretty easy to navigate and it’s very organized, which is so refreshing. I’ve been seeing ads for the Kinder Beauty Box since it launched and I liked the idea, even though I’m not vegan or anything like that. I definitely don’t like torturing animals but I’ve never been like “They test on animals so I won’t buy from them.” Or anything like that. When I started this blog I liked the idea of having a few different beauty boxes I was subscribed to so I could have plenty of content - and so I could shop a ton. So this is working out. I have way too much work to do and way too many products. So the box is pretty and looks all earthy and cute, and the products were packed really well too, which I super appreciate. The individual items seemed to fill the box and matched wit

July Glam Bag and Purchases Review and First Impressions!

Image
Hi all! I’m so excited to write about the July Glam Bag I got from IPSY this month. I made some big add-on purchases, but I’ve got all the numbers here for you and I’m experimenting with photos as well so bear with me. My skin has been doing much better as well, I have very little flakiness and it's just bumpiness now but not like open bumpiness from when I pick. I have some hormonal acne on my chin area but nothing major and I haven't picked in over a week. July Ipsy Glam Bag and Purchases I’m going to list everything out as it would appear in a skincare/makeup routine so it’s easy to follow, but these items aren’t in order of which were purchased or anything like that. `The first item is an add-on, the Cela Masque De Glacier . I typically do masks as their own skincare thing during the evening while I’m writing or watching streams. This product is $50, but I got it for $12 from the IPSY shop. It comes in packaging that reminds me a lot of the Bath and Body Works body lotions
